About 新时代F8传奇
An ensemble visual novel on TapTap: you play a high-school student who has just changed classes and spends the last year of high school with the F8, a group of legendary figures in campus stories. TapTap's developer-services team interviewed its two student developers: 33 mainly handles art and programming, and 皮糖 handles text, story, debugging and the order of content. According to the interview they made it with TapTap制造 (TapTap Maker), drew the main characters and the interface mainly by hand, generated the backgrounds with AI and then filtered and stylised them, and used a staging sheet (演出表) to line up text, art, sound and code. The interview says AI helped outline the project, analyse links between story nodes, generate some backgrounds and suggest changes from a player's view, while the core dialogue and group chats were written by the developers. The developers' note on the store page lists the areas where AI was used as scene backgrounds, the program and button-click sound effects. It is an entry in TapTap's 聚光灯 2026 制造新星 programme and a free trial (试玩 DEMO) on Android, iOS and PC.

How it was built
Partially verifiedTapTap's developer-services interview (1 Oct 2026) says the two student developers made the visual novel with TapTap制造 (TapTap Maker). It lists AI's uses as outlining the project, analysing the relationships between story nodes, generating some background art and suggesting changes from a player's point of view, and says the core dialogue, group chats and character expression were written by the developers, with main characters and UI mainly drawn by hand. The developers' own note on the store page lists the scope of AI use as scene backgrounds, the program and button-click sound effects ("ai使用范围：游戏场景（背景）、程序、按钮点击音效"). Neither source says how much of the code AI wrote; see Conflicts.

Verification notes: That the game was made with TapTap Maker, the team of two and their roles, the hand-drawn art and the AI uses come from an interview published on 1 Oct 2026 (10:30 China time) in the TapTap Maker forum by TapTap's own developer-services account (TapTap开发者服务), a platform source rather than independent press. The developers' AI-use note, the jam banner (聚光灯 2026 制造新星 第3期, 21-day entries), developer 明天再说吧 and producer account Hewitt33, supplier (上海创巴科技有限公司), tags, first-publication time (8 Sep 2026, 22:57 China time, page data), rating, followers and platforms from the TapTap page. The interview and the note describe AI's role in the code differently; see Conflicts. The interview names the developers only as 33 and 皮糖; we do not confirm that 33 is the account Hewitt33. - The developers' note on the store page lists the program (程序) among the areas where AI was used. TapTap's interview says developer 33 mainly handles art and programming, and its list of AI uses (outlining, analysing story nodes, some backgrounds, suggestions) does not mention code.
