About ELbab
A pixel-art roguelite auto-battler set inside an endless library, where the items are books. It is made in GameMaker by makz, a solo developer who writes devlogs in Japanese. In a July 2025 devlog the developer says Claude Code is the main coding tool, implementing features and keeping a CLAUDE.md spec, while ChatGPT helps with translation and item structs; they say generative AI is not used for images or music. It is a paid game on Steam; the Steam page has no AI content disclosure.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's devlog says Claude Code is used for complex coding in the GameMaker project: it plans and implements features (for example a battle speed option), updates the CLAUDE.md spec and pushes to GitHub, while the developer accepts the changes and tests them. The developer says ChatGPT (Pro plan) is used for translation and for generating many item structs from a template. No share of AI-written code is given.
