Midnight Food Truck is a narrative game in which you take over an old fast-food truck and, to make a living, work an unfamiliar neighbourhood known as the Gray Zone, where rumour has it that creatures called Pseudo-Humans lurk among the crowd: some clumsily imitate people, while others have perfectly replaced the person they copied. Customers ask for different foods, which you pick up inside the truck and hand over, and you decide whether to serve each one from what you learn by questioning them with dialogue options, the only reliable way to tell, because appearance is only a hint and ordinary people can look very odd because of their work, an illness or nerves. Your dialogue choices and whom you serve decide which of the 12 endings you reach and how much of the story and the world's lore you uncover; the store page says a normal ending takes about 30 minutes and all endings about 2 to 4 hours. The developer's Steam AI disclosure says the program code is AI-generated, the character designs are AI-generated and the dialogue text was polished or edited with AI; no tool is named. The developer's mature-content note says some female character illustrations show partial nudity, without sexual acts, and that some scenes or dialogue mention alcohol and medication.
