About 取調室の小宮
A small Japanese-language detective game that runs in the browser. You question Komiya, a 72-year-old former locksmith suspected of breaking into the safe of a pawnshop and stealing a hanging scroll. The session runs from 9 p.m. until his lawyer arrives at 11 p.m., which gives you 20 moves. Komiya lies, and you break each lie by confronting him with evidence that contradicts it. Two meters track him: the more agitated he is, the easier he is to break, but if his resistance reaches 100 he stops answering. Everything is played with buttons for questions, evidence, attitude and the case record; there is no typed input. Yuji Horii, the creator of the Dragon Quest series and of the 1983 PC mystery The Portopia Serial Murder Case, shared the game on X on 11 Oct 2026. He wrote that when he made Portopia he wrote the story, drew the pictures and programmed it himself, and that now, with AI, one person can make a decent game just by giving the AI instructions, without drawing or programming; he said this one took only about 30 minutes. His post does not name the AI. The game is published as a claude.ai artifact, and some press reports say it was made with Claude. Free, with no account or install.
How it was built
VerifiedIn his post on X, Horii says that with AI one person can make a decent game without drawing or programming, just by giving the AI instructions, and that this game took only about 30 minutes to make. The post says only “AI” and does not name a tool. The game is published as a claude.ai artifact, a page made in a Claude chat, and Creative Bloq and Kotaku report that it was made with Claude, but Horii has not named the tool himself, so it is recorded as undisclosed.
- UnverifiedThe play link in Horii's post is a claude.ai artifact, a page published from a Claude chat. This points to Claude, but the page names no tool or author. — claude.ai (published by the creator)

- UnverifiedKotaku says Horii spent about 30 minutes making it with Anthropic's AI tools. — Kotaku
- DeveloperDenfaminicogamer reports the game as made with generative AI and quotes Horii's post; it does not name the AI. — 電ファミニコゲーマー (Denfaminicogamer)
One person giving instructions to an AI, per Horii's post: no drawing and no programming by hand. The result is a single web page published as a claude.ai artifact, with the suspect's picture embedded in the page. We checked the page's code: all the dialogue and rules are written into the page, and it makes no calls to AI services while you play.

Verification notes: AI use from Horii's own post on X (read through the fxtwitter API on 3 Nov 2026; posted 11 Oct 2026 at 10:01 UTC), which links the claude.ai artifact. The post says “AI” only. Claude is suggested by the claude.ai artifact host and reported by Creative Bloq and Kotaku, but not confirmed by Horii, so the tool stays undisclosed. A Traditional Chinese item on CNA's business news-release platform that names Claude is a submitted text by a company (Cloudmax 匯智資訊), not independent reporting, and is not used. The post does not give the game's title; the title, premise and controls come from the artifact page itself. The page's code was checked: it contains no calls to AI services, so nothing is generated while you play. On 3 Nov 2026 the post showed about 21,400 likes and 3.23 million views; X engagement is not a metric we track and is not a count of players. The English title “Interrogation Room Komiya” is Creative Bloq's translation, not one given by Horii.
