About Spot the Cow
Spot the Cow is a free observation game with a horror turn, played in the browser on desktop or phone. Each dawn a letter arrives at the farm with a WANTED poster for one cow, drawn down to its spots, horns and collar bell; you find the match among look-alikes grazing behind bushes and trees and tap it before the daylight bar runs out. Each wrong cow costs one of six pieces of sanity, and a whistle can freeze the herd once a day. From Day 9 the herd stops being entirely cows, with glowing eyes, too many teeth, six hooves and creatures that eat their neighbours; on Day 30 a boss, the Herd Made Flesh, rises from the field and returns every 15 days, and the story runs to Day 105, with cutscenes, multiple endings and a secret ending, plus an endless mode, a guided tutorial for each mechanic and a bestiary of 2k cow combinations. It was made by Weird Demon Games for Bezi Jam 14 (theme: Something Wicked); the credits name Ken Wheadon for idea, game design, QA and management, and Wyrmskin for QA. The page's tools list credits the 3D coding, the 3D game art and the procedural animations to Claude, and the coding and art of a 2D demo to Muse. Built with three.js; free on itch.io.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe Tools section of the itch.io page lists “3D Coding: Claude”, “3D Game Art: Claude” and “Animations: Claude (procedural, in-engine)”, with HTML5/JavaScript and three.js as the engine and esbuild, Playwright and ffmpeg as other tools. It also lists “2D Demo Coding: Muse” and “2D Demo Game Art: Muse”, without saying what Muse is. On the Bezi Jam 14 submission page the entrant, Ken Wheadon (“ken wheadon (me) + wyrmskin”), answers the tools question with “three.js, muse for demo, claude for main game code”. Neither page says which Claude product or model was used or gives a code share.

“3D Coding: Claude”Verification notes: AI use from the Tools section and credits on the itch.io page, read on 6 Nov 2026. The short role credit “3D Coding: Claude” is read as Claude writing the 3D game's code, with medium confidence; no share is given. Muse is not explained on the page, so it is not recorded as a tool. The itch.io AI disclosure ticks AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds and Text. Publication (26 Oct 2026, 02:11 UTC), features and the jam entry from the itch.io page; the jam's dates and its optional-Bezi rule from the Bezi Jam 14 page. Community voting (closed 2 Nov 2026) ranked it 2nd overall of 48 entries from 8 ratings (1st in Polish & Presentation, Technical Execution and Scope & Completion), per the submission page read on 6 Nov 2026; Bezi's judged top three, due on 6 Nov 2026, were not yet shown, so no final placement is recorded. The build includes three.js inline and loads only Google Fonts and itch.io's own script; it contacts no AI services. The credits name two people, but team size is not stated. The game was not played.
