About SIS - Special Incidents Service
A short analog-horror office game set in Romania in 1998. You are Operator 0841 at the Special Incidents Service, working at a complete imitation Windows 98 workstation with a boot screen, login, Start menu and taskbar. Over three shifts you clock in, read the anomaly reports that arrive in IntraMail 98, register each case, compare it with the official Knowledge Base (which loads at 56k speed) and decide what the department does; the Knowledge Base says exactly what each phenomenon can and cannot do, but the anomalies have not read it. Records change on their own, programs crash and things appear on screen that should not be there. Sebastian Pavel made it in Godot 4.4 for the Game Dev Romania Halloween Jam 2026, whose theme was a workplace that deals with ghosts that ignore the department's rules, and it placed 2nd of 11 entries and 1st for creativity. The developer's AI disclosure says the code and part of the in-game text were written with the help of Claude; all images, icons, cursors and sounds come from credited people and stock libraries. About 15 minutes long, in English, free in the browser.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe AI disclosure on the itch.io page says the code and part of the in-game text were written with the help of an AI assistant, Claude; no Claude product or model is named. All images, icons, cursors and sounds are credited to people and stock libraries (a retro Windows GUI pack, Unsplash photographs and Pixabay sound effects). How much of the code Claude wrote is not stated.

Made alone in Godot 4.4 during the Game Dev Romania Halloween Jam 2026 (19–31 Oct 2026). Claude helped write the code and part of the in-game text; the interface uses a retro Windows GUI pack by Comp-3 Interactive, with photographs from Unsplash and sounds from Pixabay, all credited on the page.

Verification notes: AI use from the developer's disclosure on the itch.io page and the AI-use answer on the official jam submission page (Programming / Code and Storyline / Writing). The developer names Claude without a product, so the tool is recorded as Claude. Placement from the official results page: 2nd overall (score 3.542 from 8 ratings) out of 11 entries and 1st for Creativity / Originality; rating ran from 31 Oct to 1 Nov 2026. The jam does not require AI; its submission form asks entrants to declare it. Published on itch.io on 31 Oct 2026 (21:59 UTC) and submitted to the jam about 16 minutes before its 22:17 UTC deadline. Team size is one because the credits say “Made by: Sebastian Pavel” and list only asset creators besides the developer. The jam was open only to Romanian developers, in Romania or abroad, so the developer's location is not recorded. The game files were checked for calls to AI services and none were found; the in-game text is in English. itch.io shows no public rating for the game.
