About 30X
30X is a short satirical management game in the browser. You play the COO of a company where Claude Code, in the story, writes every text that leaves the company: Slack posts, an NDA, a grant answer, the investor forecast, a LinkedIn post, the expo deck. For each text you choose to ship it unread, which costs nothing; to read it and click the wrong claims, which costs your time; or also to open the source of truth, which costs 30 minutes. The inbox keeps filling. Shipping fast raises a productivity gauge, while wrong claims that reach people light up warning lamps, and one rule ends the day at once: a military unit's name appearing in public material. A day lasts five minutes, plus a 40-second tutorial. It can be played with the mouse or the keyboard. The developer, CommonCEO, says it was made for week 1 of the “deslop derby”, whose theme was parody your job, with art generated with GPT and the code written with Claude Code. Free in the browser on itch.io. The page uses some strong language.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe itch.io page says “code written with Claude Code” and “Art generated with GPT”; it does not name the app the art was made with. Claude Code also appears inside the game's story as the AI that writes the company's texts; that is part of the satire, and the texts are built into the game, which makes no calls to AI services. The page's AI disclosure ticks only AI Assisted.
A single self-contained HTML5 page on itch.io; per the developer, the code was written with Claude Code and the art generated with GPT. The game was made for week 1 of the “deslop derby” (theme: parody your job), which the developer names on the page.

“Made for the deslop derby, week 1: parody your job. Art generated with GPT, code written with Claude Code.”Verification notes: AI use, gameplay and controls come from the itch.io page, published on 31 Oct 2026 (14:50 UTC). The “deslop derby” is named only by the developer; no event page for it was found on itch.io, so it is not recorded as a game jam. “I am the COO” is the game's premise, not a statement about the developer, and team size is not stated. The game file (one HTML page) was checked for network requests: apart from itch.io's own script it loads nothing, so the in-game texts are built in, not generated during play. The game was not played.
