About HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE EARTH!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE EARTH!!! is a short clicker game in English and Japanese. You blow out the candles of each era of the Earth's history, from the Hadean eon to the modern day, by clicking rapidly, on the way to a final “Happy Birthday”. Upgrades help along the way, and the page recommends “Charge Unlock” and “Auto Energy Gain”. The developer says an active playthrough takes about 15 minutes and that the idea came from the thought that, from the Earth's point of view, a birthday candle would be as big as a torch. Background music and sound effects were added in a 3 Nov 2026 update. It plays with the mouse. The page credits the coding to Kiro, the art to Gemini (Free) and the music to Gemini, with sound effects from Kiro. Free in the browser on itch.io; it was made for AI Browser Game Jam 5, the developer's first game jam.
How it was built
Partially verifiedKiro, an AI coding tool that is not in our tool list. The itch.io credits read “Coding: KIRO” and “Sounds: BGM: Gemini (Free), SE: KIRO”, and the AI Tools Used answer on the jam submission says “We used KIRO for coding and Gemini (Free) for art generation to build this game.” In a reply on the jam page the developer writes that Kiro “really does everything just by asking”, and that handling the visuals was the hard part. In a note.com post of 4 Oct 2026 about joining the jam, the developer, who signs as 緑茶 (Ryokucha) and describes themselves as an IT engineer, writes in Japanese that making a game without AI is not possible for them right now. No share of AI-written code is given.

The credits name Gemini (Free) for the art and, since the 3 Nov 2026 update, for the background music.
Made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch). The page credits the coding to Kiro and the art to Gemini (Free). At first the game had no sound: in a jam comment the developer says the credits for it ran out halfway through. The 3 Nov 2026 update added background music made with Gemini and sound effects made with Kiro. The developer says they researched the Earth's history for the eras in the game.

“We used KIRO for coding and Gemini (Free) for art generation to build this game.”Verification notes: Gameplay, credits and languages from the developer's itch.io page (published 25 Oct 2026, 13:06 UTC; updated 3 Nov 2026, 12:29 UTC; status Released; HTML5; languages English and Japanese; input Mouse), AI use from the page's credits, the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page and the developer's replies there, and the developer's note.com post (4 Oct 2026, Japanese), all re-read on 5 Nov 2026. The code is credited to Kiro by short role credits (“Coding: KIRO”, “KIRO for coding”); Kiro is not one of the tools tracked on this site, so it is recorded as an unlisted tool and named in the usage text. No share is given, so no AI code share is recorded. The note.com post was written before the jam and does not describe this game. The page lists no genre; Casual is our classification. The game's JavaScript makes no calls to AI services. Submissions closed on 31 Oct 2026 and voting runs until 7 Nov 2026, 04:00 UTC, so no placement is recorded; on 5 Nov the submission page showed 11 jam ratings (observed; jam votes, not players or reviews, so not recorded as a metric). itch.io shows no public rating and no download count. The game was not played.
