About Torch Duck Parade
A short steering game in the browser. A mother duck carries a torch through a park, and a new duckling joins the line behind her every second. You steer around puddles and toy carts, which cost you ducklings, and light the torch stands along the path to call even more of them; the aim is to reach the pond at the end of the 35-second parade with the longest line you can. You steer by dragging with the mouse or a finger, or with the arrow keys or WASD. The line follows like Snake, but you cannot crash into your own tail, a choice the developer says was deliberate. In comments during the jam the developer said the game is currently one stage with upgrades, and that arriving with no ducklings left does not yet count as a loss. The developer, CaCC-Lab, says the code was written by Gemini through Google Antigravity, with independent reviews by Devin and Cursor, small fixes by Claude Code and playtests by Grok Bot; all of the art was generated with Codex's built-in OpenAI image generation, and the sound effects are synthesized in code with Web Audio. It was made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch) and is free to play in the browser on itch.io.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's itch.io page says the code was written by Gemini via Google Antigravity, an agentic AI coding IDE; the jam submission adds that Gemini in Antigravity also wrote the spec and placed the art in the game. Which Gemini model was used is not stated. The art itself (ducks, path, grass, props, pond and cover) was generated with Codex's built-in OpenAI image generation; Devin, a tool we do not track, reviewed the work alongside Cursor, and Grok Bot playtested. The sound effects are synthesized in code with Web Audio.

- OfficialJam rules: development must be heavily AI-assisted, with the majority of the game AI-generated; AI may be used for anything. — itch.io (Focaccai)
Named in the jam submission for small fixes only. Which fixes, and which model, is not stated.
Named in the jam submission and on the itch.io page, together with Devin, for independent reviews of the work. The sources do not say that Cursor wrote any of the code.

The web build is plain JavaScript drawing to a 2D canvas, bundled with Vite; no game library was found in it.

“How AI was used: code by Gemini via Antigravity, reviews by Devin and Cursor, playtests by Grok Bot.”Verification notes: Gameplay, controls and AI usage from the developer's itch.io page (published 30 Oct 2026, 05:23 UTC; status Released; HTML5) and the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page, both re-read on 4 Nov 2026. Gemini via Antigravity is recorded as Gemini, the model the developer names; Antigravity, Devin and Grok Bot are not tools we track. The single stage and the fact that an empty parade does not end in a loss come from the developer's own replies to comments on the jam and itch.io pages. The jam allows AI for anything and requires the majority of each game to be AI-generated; submissions ran from 17 to 31 Oct 2026 and voting was still in progress on 4 Nov 2026 (it ends on 7 Nov), so no placement is recorded. On 4 Nov the submission page showed 25 jam ratings (observed; jam votes, not players or reviews, so not recorded as a metric). The web build was checked for calls to AI services and none were found. Team size and location are not stated. itch.io shows no public rating and no download counts. We did not play the game.
