About No Kissing in the Dark
A short mouse-only game in which you are the projectionist of an old silent-film cinema. The lights are off and the film is rolling, and you juggle two jobs at once: click the hand-cranked reel to keep it turning, because if it stops the show is lost, and pick up the flashlight from the desk to catch couples kissing in the dark. Hearts rise above couples who are about to kiss. Catch 15 before the show ends and you become a legend of the hall; the film runs for 2:30, you cannot take the flashlight before the reel is running, and a missed click costs you time. The developer, artemsokolov1, says Claude Code wrote the entire game logic, physics, UI system and state management through iterative prompting, and that all of the visual assets were generated with AI image tools and arranged by hand. Free in the browser on itch.io; it was entered in AI Browser Game Jam 5 and is also a Ludum Dare 60 entry.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe AI Tools Used answer on the jam submission names “Anthropic Claude (Claude Code / Sonnet 3.5)” for coding and game logic and says it wrote the entire game logic, physics, UI system and state management through iterative prompting; it was also used for brainstorming mechanics, debugging and structuring the project. All visual assets (the projection booth, projector, film reels, control panel, audience silhouettes and kissing couples) were generated from text prompts with AI image generators, named as “Google Gemini / Midjourney-style tools”, then edited and composited by hand. ElevenLabs generated the Russian voice line played when a couple is caught, and ZzFX with AI-assisted sound design made the projector and cinema sounds.

- OfficialJam rules: development must be heavily AI-assisted, with the majority of the game AI-generated. The rule is not specific to code. — itch.io (Focaccai)
Made in Godot for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch) and Ludum Dare 60. Claude Code wrote the game logic, physics, UI and state management through iterative prompting. The art was generated from text prompts in a black-and-white ink style with red accents and arranged into the final layout by hand in an image editor; the caught-couple voice line was generated with ElevenLabs and the cinema sounds were made with ZzFX. For the jam theme the entrant describes the flashlight as the torch: the only light in the dark cinema. The web build's scripts are GDScript (observed).

“Anthropic Claude (Claude Code / Sonnet 3.5) — wrote the entire game logic, physics, UI system, and state management through iterative prompting.”Verification notes: AI use from the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page, re-read on 5 Nov 2026; the itch.io page has no AI statement beyond its AI disclosure (AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds), and the Ludum Dare 60 entry (read through the ldjam.com API) repeats the itch.io description without an AI statement. The answer says Claude wrote the entire game logic but gives no percentage, so no AI code share is recorded. Gameplay and controls from the itch.io page; published on itch.io on 18 Oct 2026 (15:27 UTC) and on Ludum Dare on the same day (13:55 UTC). The ElevenLabs voice line and the sounds were made before release; nothing is generated during play, and the Godot build was checked for calls to AI services with none found. Team size and location are not stated. Jam voting was still open on 5 Nov 2026 (it closes on 7 Nov), so no placement is recorded; the submission page showed 6 jam ratings (jam votes, not recorded as a metric). itch.io shows no public rating. The game was not played.
