About Link State
A short 2D platformer with a retro CRT and neon look. You play a data packet climbing through five zones of a decaying computer, from the Legacy Partition to the Wireless Antenna, to deliver a final message to the User, using a sonar-style System Ping and a Phase Dash that passes through firewalls. The developer, bml, credits the code to Google Gemini and to JetBrains Rider with Gemini, and says the sound effects came from Gemini-written Sonic Pi scripts. It was made for the AI Browser Game Jam, where it placed 3rd, and it is free to play in the browser on itch.io.
How it was built
Partially verifiedGoogle Gemini. The itch.io credits list Gemini for prototyping, and "Google Gemini and JetBrains Rider + Gemini" for the code.
