About AREA 51 – A Pumpkin's Journey
A one-button swinging game for the Commodore 64: a pumpkin shoots strands of spider web to swing through 51 castle-wall areas on its way to a tea party with aliens at Area 51. The developer, Roman Werner, says in his devlog that he made it in Claude Code in about two days; he directed, drew some of the graphics and played every build, while Claude wrote the 6510 assembly, the sound and music and most of the graphics. It is a free download on itch.io (area51.prg, under 10 KB) that runs in a C64 emulator such as VICE or on a real C64.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer says the game was made in Claude Code in about two days: Claude wrote the 6510 assembly, the sound and music (including the theremin-style title tune) and most of the graphics; VICE was used for testing, and Claude recorded sounds in VICE to inspect them as spectrograms. He directed, drew some graphics and played every build, and worked with Claude in German. No model is named.

Prompt-driven development: the developer described changes in small steps, Claude Code implemented them in 6510 assembly and he play-tested each build. Levels are generated from per-area seeds to keep the program under 10 KB.
