About BeetleJump
A multiplayer 3D platformer race in the browser: you play a small beetle climbing a giant beanstalk, and the first player to reach the top wins. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of the code to be written by AI. The developer, Peter Assentorp, says it is a single index.html file using Three.js and PartyKit, built with Claude Code. It is free to play at beetlejump.com with no login, including on mobile.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer says the game was built with Claude Code over hundreds of prompts and many iterations, covering design, 3D camera angles, sound and playability. The result is a single index.html file using Three.js and PartyKit.

Verification notes: Tool and tech stack from the developer's LinkedIn post (in Danish). The post shows no exact date; April 2026 is inferred from the post's LinkedIn activity ID and the jam window (1 April – 1 May 2026). The post names the jam only as vibej.am, not Cursor. The Rage Quit Award is shown on the game's own page; we could not confirm it on an official results page (the jam page lists no winners).
