About Checkers Kingdom
Checkers Kingdom is a single-player checkers game with four official rulesets: American Checkers, International Draughts on a 10×10 board, Russian Draughts and Brazilian Draughts. A Training Academy teaches basics, tactics, openings, middlegame and endgames, with a puzzle at the end of every lesson, and separate trainers cover named openings such as Single Corner, Double Corner and Bristol and classic endings such as First Position and The Bridge. After each game, analysis tags every move from Brilliant to Blunder and scores your accuracy, and hints give the engine's best move with a one-line explanation of the idea. A roster of named computer opponents, each with its own style and reactions, runs from newcomers up to the Phantom, and a campaign follows a player from a grandmother's kitchen table through village clubs and regional tournaments to the international stage. There are time controls from Bullet to Classical, tournament brackets, league seasons, an elimination mode, daily puzzles and Puzzle Rush, a position editor, a replay viewer, PDN export, local play and asynchronous online games against friends. The developer's Steam AI disclosure says Claude Code was used to create the game's code and its assets. A paid game on Steam for Windows, released 9 May 2026, with 30 interface languages listed on Steam; it is by the same developer as Sudoku Unlimited and Jigsaw Puzzles Complete.

How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's Steam AI disclosure, in full: “I have used Claude Code to create the game itself code and assets.” It is word for word the disclosure on the same developer's Sudoku Unlimited and Jigsaw Puzzles Complete. It does not say which assets, whether any code or assets were made by hand, or how much.
Not described beyond the one-sentence Steam disclosure, which says Claude Code was used to create the game's code and assets. The announcement post says the computer opponents use the same pool-based Elo engine as the developer's Chess Kingdom, where the size of the pool sets the difficulty instead of deliberate blunders. The store page lists async online play, Steam achievements, leaderboards and Cloud saves, and the developer calls themself a solo developer in a Steam post.

“I have used Claude Code to create the game itself code and assets.”Verification notes: The AI claim rests on one sentence, the developer-written AI disclosure on the game's Steam page (re-read on 4 Nov 2026): “I have used Claude Code to create the game itself code and assets.” It names Claude Code for both the code and the assets but gives no share and no detail; the wording is identical to the disclosures on Sudoku Unlimited and Jigsaw Puzzles Complete, and Steam lists Pinch Games as developer and publisher of all three, so the developer profile is shared. A post on this game's Steam page (15 May 2026) says “I'm a solo developer”, which is recorded as the team size here; the shared profile still says team size is not stated. The computer opponents are a conventional engine (pool-based Elo, per the 22 Apr 2026 announcement); the store page and the game's Steam posts describe no generative AI during play (checked 4 Nov 2026). Release date, price, platform and the 30 Steam languages from the Steam store API; review figures from the store page on 4 Nov 2026. Steam lists no website.
