About Lantern Drift
A slow, atmospheric boating game where you collect drifting lanterns at dusk and return them to island shrines. Navigation relies on currents and wind rather than combat, and each island adds a small environmental puzzle. The developer documented the full build in a public devlog, including which systems were generated with an AI agent and which were hand-tuned.
How it was built
VerifiedGenerated the boat physics controller, save system and most UI scenes; developer reviewed every change.
Agent-first: the developer wrote short design specs per system and had Claude Code implement them, then tuned feel and art by hand.
