About Minimal Rogue
A traditional retro roguelike played floor by floor, with autosave between floors; Denfaminico Gamer reports that reaching floor 100 shows an ending. Developer Hirotaka Adachi, who writes novels as Otsuichi, says he built it in spring 2026 with Claude Code, and the itch.io page says the work was created entirely using AI, with music made in SUNO AI. It is free on itch.io and plays in the browser; the developer recommends a PC screen because phone layouts are unfinished. The source code is on GitHub under the MIT licence.

VerifiedThe developer says he built the game with Claude Code in spring 2026 and that work on a phone-sized layout stopped when he moved to a cheaper Claude Code plan. The itch.io page lists Claude Code as the development tool and tags AI use for code and sounds; music was made with SUNO AI.
