About STICKSHOT: Comic War
STICKSHOT: Comic War is a first-person shooter drawn like a comic book, with bold colours, thick ink lines and stick fighters that ragdoll when hit. The main mode is a battle royale for up to 60 players in solo, duo or squad on a 1.2 km island with a high-rise district, a harbour, a theme park and a ring train, with vehicles, ziplines and bots filling empty slots. There is also a tactical 5v5 bomb mode on 12 hand-built maps with a buy menu and grenades, five single-weapon party modes, and a ten-mission campaign with three arenas that can be played offline. Much of the world can be destroyed: glass shatters, thin walls take bullet holes and rockets bring down floors and roofs. Online features include proximity voice chat, host migration and private matches for streamers. Cosmetics are earned with in-game coins only; nothing is sold for real money. The developer's Steam AI disclosure says the code, the procedurally built 3D models, levels and effects and the synthesized music were created with the help of Anthropic's Claude under the developer's direction and review; the game's site and press kit carry a shorter version of the same disclosure that does not name the tool. Built with Godot, it is in Early Access on Steam for Windows, with a free demo.

How it was built
VerifiedThe developer's Steam AI disclosure says the game's code, its procedurally built 3D models, levels and effects, the synthesized in-game music, parts of the UI art, the store artwork and the store texts and translations were created with the help of AI tools (Anthropic Claude) under the developer's direction and review. Separately, the menu music was generated with Google Gemini and the announcer and team-radio voices with ElevenLabs text-to-speech, neither of which we track; sound effects are edited recordings from Kenney, Mixkit and the Sonniss GDC bundle. No AI content is generated during play. The wording is “with the help of”; no share of AI-written code is given.
- DeveloperThe official site's footer carries the same AI disclosure: code, procedural 3D models and levels, synthesized music and parts of the UI art made with the help of AI tools under the developer's direction and review. — Millennial Game Dreams
- DeveloperThe press kit repeats the AI disclosure, says the same statement is on the Steam page, and names the Godot Engine with GodotSteam. — Millennial Game Dreams
Built with Godot Engine 4.7 and GodotSteam, per the press kit. The developer says Claude helped create the code as well as the 3D models, levels and effects, which are built procedurally, and the synthesized music, with the developer directing and reviewing; sound effects are edited library recordings. The game launched in Early Access with plans to grow through community feedback.

“The game's code, its procedurally built 3D models and levels, the synthesized music, the menu music (Gemini) and parts of the UI art were created with the help of AI tools under the developer's direction and review.”Verification notes: The AI claim appears in three developer sources that agree: the AI disclosure on the Steam page, the footer of the official site and the press kit. Steam lists the site (volatilis88.github.io/stickshot) as the game's website, and the site links back to the Steam page. The wording is “with the help of AI tools” and names Anthropic Claude; the game is classed as AI-assisted because no share of AI-written code is given. Engine from the press kit; release date, price, demo, platform and languages from the Steam store API; review count from the store page (the review API returned nothing when checked). The store page lists 20 guns while the press kit says 13; we do not repeat either count in the summary's numbers. Location from the site's legal imprint, which follows German law; the imprint names a private individual, whom we do not name here. The bots and campaign enemies are ordinary game AI; the disclosure says no AI content is generated during play.
