About Echoes
A free Unity WebGL game that plays in the browser, including on mobile in landscape mode. The developer's write-up says the idea started as a black-hole arena and that its mechanics draw on "quantum stuff" such as entanglement and "time echoes". The developer, writing on the site Blog By Bread, says the AI did the design, code, infrastructure and writing: code was written in Cursor with Claude 3.7 and later Gemini 2.5 Pro, and ChatGPT 4.5 wrote the in-game text. The game links to Vibe Jam 2025; its jam entry has not been checked against the official jam list.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer wrote the game's code through Cursor, with the project requirements document set as an "Always" rule so the AI saw it in every prompt. Models used in Cursor: Claude 3.7 early on, Gemini 2.5 Pro later.
Claude 3.7 was the coding model in Cursor in the early part of development, before the developer moved to Gemini 2.5 Pro.
Built in about two weeks for Vibe Jam 2025. ChatGPT 4.5 brainstormed the idea, theme, name and mechanics and wrote all the in-game text; AI wrote most of the project requirements document; code was written with Claude 3.7 and Gemini 2.5 Pro in Cursor; the developer also worked through setting up a Google Compute virtual machine by prompting AI with errors. Built in Unity for WebGL, with PrimeTween for animation.
