About ヒマネジ

A free idle clicker in the browser, in beta. You tap machines to make screws and money, buy more machines that keep working on their own, and spend money on a branching tech tree that improves tapping, luck or hired workers. When the factory has grown you rebirth for Blueprints, a permanent upgrade currency, and later launch a rocket to the next star, where prices and income are bigger; there are six stars, and after all of them a galaxy rebirth starts the stars over. Tapping fast makes Circuit Chips drop, a second currency for a four-colour upgrade tree, and machine limits can be expanded with money. There are 42 achievements (9 hidden) and daily missions. It needs no download or login, works on phones and PCs, saves in the browser with a transfer code for moving devices, and is in Japanese, English and Traditional Chinese. It launched on 6 Oct 2026 under the name ネジ工場. It is made by レノン, the web designer who runs SCGF.NET, a Japanese free-game site active since 2002; the developer says Claude Code does the implementation and Codex the code review.

How it was built

Verified

The developer's Qiita post says the game is being made with the work split between Claude Code for the implementation and Codex for the review. The post is about balancing the game from Google Analytics 4 data and does not describe how Claude Code was used beyond that split. The itch.io AI disclosure marks the game as AI assisted, for code and text.

Code review, per the developer's Qiita post (“実装は Claude Code、レビューは Codex”).

Development approach

Implementation by Claude Code with review by Codex, tuned from analytics after launch. The game sends one event at each milestone (first tap, first machine, first unlock, first rebirth, first launch, first galaxy rebirth) to Google Analytics 4. On 10 Oct 2026 the developer cut back Blueprint growth after heavy players were rebirthing dozens of times on one star, and reports that rebirths per player fell from about 33 to about 20 a day, while noting that the player mix changed at the same time. An A/B test of a “tap the machine” hint showed almost no difference (81% vs 82% of first tappers bought a machine), so the hint went back to being shown to everyone and a new “buy a machine” prompt now appears when the first machine becomes affordable. Before adding Circuit Chips, the developer compared simulated players who tap 100%, about 33% and about 10% of the time, then delayed and doubled the price of the chip upgrades to limit how much faster heavy tappers finish. The developer says the sample sizes are still too small to judge many changes.

Verification notes: AI use from the developer's Qiita post (13 Oct 2026), which states the Claude Code / Codex split and links the game on scgf.net, the scgf.net contact page and the itch.io page, and from the itch.io AI disclosure (AI Assisted: Code, Text). The Qiita account Wataru links the GitHub and X account scgflennon, so we treat it as レノン of SCGF.NET; the game's page on scgf.net credits レノン as its maker. The post does not give an AI code share, so none is recorded. Team size is not stated: レノン is the credited maker, but SCGF.NET has other members, so no team size is recorded. Dates from the SCGF.NET blog: beta launch on 6 Oct 2026 (first called ネジ工場), balance change on 10 Oct, achievements on 11 Oct, Circuit Chips, expansion and the English and Traditional Chinese versions on 12 Oct; the itch.io page was published on 12 Oct 2026, 16:00 UTC. The developer's Google Analytics figures (new visitors per day falling from the 1,100s to the 50s after the launch buzz on X) are analytics, not recorded as metrics. SCGF.NET's older games were made without AI tools as far as any source says and are not part of this record. No source mentions generative AI running in the game.

Development history

  1. Released as a free browser beta on scgf.net, first under the name ネジ工場.

    DeveloperSCGF.NET
  2. Balance change that slows Blueprint growth, based on Google Analytics data.

  3. Adds Circuit Chips and their upgrade tree, machine-limit expansion, bulk buying, and English and Traditional Chinese versions; the itch.io page is published the same day.

Each figure measures something different — concurrent players, owners, downloads and sales are never interchangeable and are never added together. Labels show where each number comes from.
