About マチアワセ
A free first-person search game for Windows. In a fictional town modelled on Shibuya, with a square around a dog statue and a scramble crossing where 500 people walk, you weave through the crowd looking for the man in the red-and-white striped top from a photo, and tap him on the shoulder when you find him. The photo is your only hint, and plenty of passers-by are dressed to confuse you: stripes in other colours, vertical stripes, stripes of a different width. Where the target stands changes every time. There is no time limit, and the two best times for each stage are recorded. There are two stages, each a few minutes long, and the game is in Japanese and English. All characters are fictional 3D people, and the town has no connection to real shops or companies. A note on the game page says generative AI (Claude) was used to make the program and the text; it does not say which Claude product, or how much of the code it wrote.
How it was built
Partially verifiedA note at the end of the Freem! page says generative AI (Claude) was used to make the program and the text. It does not say whether the Claude chat app or Claude Code was used, how much of the code AI wrote, or how the developer worked with it.
Not described beyond one line: the developer says generative AI (Claude) was used for the program and the text. No devlog was found. The game is a 3D first-person Windows build with a crowd of 500 walkers and a graphics-quality setting for slower PCs.

Verification notes: The AI claim rests on one developer statement, the note on the game's Freem! page (“プログラムと文章の制作に生成AI(Claude)を使用しています”). It names only “Claude”, so the chat app and Claude Code are not told apart, and no share of the code is recorded; for that reason the game is classed as AI-assisted rather than vibe-coded. Team size comes from the creator profile, which says the developer makes games as an individual (個人で); the profile links no website or social account and no devlog was found. Who made the 3D characters and other assets is not stated. Registered on Freem! on 7 Oct 2026 (version 1.00) and not updated since. The game was not run, and nothing on the page mentions AI running during play. The page warns of flashing lights from large video screens in the game. Freem! shows no reviews.

Each figure measures something different — concurrent players, owners, downloads and sales are never interchangeable and are never added together. Labels show where each number comes from.
Freem!
