About OutClocked
OutClocked is a free daily trivia game in the browser, on a phone or a computer. Everyone gets the same seven general-knowledge questions, with a new game at 6am Eastern Time: you have 60 seconds for the first question, and the clock halves after each one (30, 15, 7.5, 3.75, 1.88 and finally 0.94 seconds). Each question is shown on its own for three-quarters of a second before the answers appear; a wrong answer is crossed out and halves the time left for that question, and running out of time ends the game. You get one try at each day's game; earlier days can be replayed for fun with the answers shuffled, and holidays and big events get themed games. Signing in with an emailed link is optional: it keeps a streak, can put your score on the daily leaderboard, and lets you play in private friend leagues with weekly and season winners. The developer, Karol Gajda, says the game was built with Claude Code, with a first version in a couple of hours and about 10 hours in total; the FAQ puts it as “Karol Gajda dreamt it, Claude Code coded it.” The developer says the name was inspired by the Soundgarden song “Outshined”. Free, with nothing to download and no account needed.
