About SpaceGeol
A 3D space-mining simulator in the browser from GeoStratum, a French geology software company. The entrant's pitch: you are Earth's last hope and must go and mine resources in space. You plan multi-stop missions to the Moon, Mars and Venus against your fuel, oxygen, energy and budget, fly the ship with rotation and thrust keys, land, drive a rover to mine the surface, and identify minerals through short science mini-games (diffraction, molar balance, conductivity and emission spectra), with a fact card and Wikipedia link for each find. You also build and defend bases against pirate raids, trade at a market and upgrade the ship, while a scripted mission-control panel called HOUSTON AI gives instructions. The game's notice says the minerals and gravities are real but the pirates, combat and distances are adapted for play. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Antigravity as the tool. It finished 834th of 945 entries. Free on GeoStratum's website, in French by default, played with a keyboard.
How it was built
Partially verifiedGoogle Antigravity, an agentic AI coding IDE. In the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Antigravity as the tool, answers Yes to the AI-written field and writes: “I do a lot of development using Vibecoding, so I thought this competition would be useful for me.” Which model ran in Antigravity and how it was used are not stated. The submission covers the jam version only.
- OfficialJam rule 3: at least 90% of the code has to be written by AI. — Vibe Jam (Pieter Levels)
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 on Three.js, with Antigravity named as the tool. The game is a set of JavaScript modules (story, navigation, combat, base, market, surface mining and mini-games) on GeoStratum's site, with text loaded from per-language files.

“I do a lot of development using Vibecoding, so I thought this competition would be useful for me.”Verification notes: Tool (Antigravity), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Action, Adventure, Shooter, Strategy, Simulation), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (No), mobile (Yes) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (listed there as “SPACGEOL”; submitted 1 May 2026, 13:17 UTC; final rank 834 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: the jam data gives the X handle @GeoStratum_com, whose display name is Lohan Guyon; GeoStratum's legal notice names Lohan Guyon as Director of Publication and gives the company's address in Loireauxence, France. Team size is not stated. The game page shows the subtitle “PLANET PROSPECTOR v2”; no earlier version was found, and the AI share of any later changes is not stated. Gameplay from the game page, its scripts and GeoStratum's home page; the game was not played. HOUSTON AI is a scripted panel: the game's scripts only fetch their own language files, and no calls to AI services were found. Languages: the page is in French by default and its menu lists 50 languages loaded from separate files; on 5 Nov 2026 the English file served Greek text, so only French is recorded. The entrant's mobile answer is Yes, but the controls shown are keyboard only, so the listing is marked browser only. GeoStratum's separate geology app advertises AI features; they are not part of this game.
