About Off-G Overtime
A free first-person zero-gravity physics game in the browser. As a salvage worker in orbit you thrust in six directions, toggle between moving and rotating, stabilise your spin and fire a grappling cable to catch space junk and haul it back to a boss who pays only for what was ordered and deducts credits for junk; some asteroids are magnetic and take the cable, others bounce it off. Fuel and oxygen run down and are refilled at the station or the shop, a personal force field shields you from solar flares at four times the fuel cost and locks you in place, UFOs try to steal your cargo, and permanent upgrades enlarge the tanks. A radar pings targets and a helmet light helps in the dark. The developer, Antonio Reche, a researcher in computer vision and solar physics who lists the game among the developer's side projects, names space exploration, physics research and sci-fi such as Outer Wilds and The Martian among the inspirations. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 815th of 945 entries. Played with keyboard and mouse.
