About Torch Chain
A short memory game played as a duel. Each round a torch lights a few stones in sequence and you tap them back in the same order. While you think, the fuel gauge drains, faster every round, and when the flame hits zero the round is over even if your tap was right: the torch shows you the order and is also your clock. A run lasts 30 seconds and gives one score. When it ends you get a challenge link to send to a friend, who plays exactly the same round, and the better score wins; no sign-up is needed to play. The game lives on worrrrld, which the developer, yahoai, describes as a one-person site of 30-second 1v1 minigames. The developer says almost all of the code was written with AI coding tools (Claude), covering the game rules, timing, scoring and tests, and the jam submission names Claude via Claude Code; the developer picked the idea, decided how the theme should change the rules and checked that it plays fair. Free on itch.io, where the page embeds the game from worrrrld.com, and directly on worrrrld.com; it was entered in AI Browser Game Jam 5.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe jam submission's AI Tools Used answer credits “Claude (Anthropic) via Claude Code for game design, rules, code and tests”, with human direction, theme interpretation and playtesting by the developer. The itch.io page says almost all of the code was written with AI coding tools (Claude): the game rules, timing, scoring and tests; the developer's job was picking the idea, deciding how the theme should change the rules and checking that it plays fair.

A new game made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch) and hosted on worrrrld, the developer's site of 30-second 1v1 minigames. Claude, via Claude Code, wrote almost all of the code (rules, timing, scoring and tests) and contributed to the design; the developer chose the idea, decided how the torch theme changes the rules and playtested for fairness. The itch.io page frames the game from worrrrld.com rather than hosting its own build.

“Almost all of the code was written with AI coding tools (Claude): game rules, timing, scoring, tests.”Verification notes: AI use from the “How it was made” section of the itch.io page and the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page, both re-read on 5 Nov 2026. The page says “almost all” of the code was written with Claude, so no exact AI code share is recorded; the jam answer names Claude Code. The itch.io AI disclosure ticks only “AI Assisted”. Team size 1 from the page, which calls worrrrld “my one-person site”. Publication (21 Oct 2026, 10:03 UTC) and last update (27 Oct 2026, 04:24 UTC) from the itch.io page. The itch.io build is only a frame around www.worrrrld.com/play/torch-chain; that page and its scripts were fetched on 5 Nov 2026 and make no calls to AI services. The scripts include full-screen house ads for App Store apps, set to skip jam sessions and first plays (observed); a jam commenter reported one opening an App Store tab after a first run. The release date of the worrrrld version is not stated. Jam voting was still open on 5 Nov 2026 (2 ratings so far), so no placement is recorded; itch.io shows no public rating. The game was not played.
