About Undead Castle
A first-person action game set in Undead Castle. You fight waves of skeleton warriors with a morning star, a spear or a bow; after each wave you collect gold from treasure chests and spend it on upgrades before the boss fights. If you are downed, mashing a button gives you a chance to get back up and keep fighting. The developer, grey-haired-conjurer, says Claude Code with Opus 5.5 (high) was used for all of the coding, and that some of the design was done in Unreal Engine and then exported with Claude through MCP. Free in the browser on itch.io; it was entered in AI Browser Game Jam 5.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission says Claude Code with Opus 5.5 (high) was used for all coding, and that some of the design was done in Unreal Engine and then exported using MCP with Claude. The itch.io AI disclosure ticks Code.
Made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch). Per the entrant, all of the code was written with Claude Code (Opus 5.5, high), and part of the design was laid out in Unreal Engine and exported with Claude through MCP. The shipped browser game is not an Unreal build: its script identifies itself as the LittleJS engine (observed), matching the page's littlejs tag.

“Claude Code with Opus 5.5 (high) was used for all coding.”Verification notes: AI use from the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page, re-read on 5 Nov 2026; the itch.io page itself has no AI text beyond its AI disclosure (AI Assisted, Code). “All coding” is the entrant's wording; no percentage is given, so no AI code share is recorded. The engine is not named in the text: the browser build's script identifies itself as LittleJS Engine v1.28.0 (observed), and the page is tagged littlejs. Which parts of the design came from Unreal Engine is not stated. Gameplay summary from the itch.io page; publication (21 Oct 2026, 16:10 UTC) from the same page. The build makes no calls to AI services. Team size is not stated. Jam voting was still open on 5 Nov 2026 (2 ratings so far), so no placement is recorded; itch.io shows no public rating.
