About ディストピア飯
ディストピア飯 (Dystopia Meshi) is a free 3D cooking simulator for the browser set in a near future where real food no longer exists. You are MEAL-7, the cooking AI of Ration Canteen No. 7, and you combine twelve mystery liquids and mystery substances to serve imitation dishes: something like hamburger steak, ramen, curry rice, omurice, miso soup, mapo tofu, strawberry shortcake or cream soda, 52 recipes in all. Citizens do not always name the dish; they may describe it (“white, flat and round, with a yellow dot in the middle”) or a memory, and tapping the highlighted words filters the recipe database, while from the second day you can spend their patience on questions about temperature, shape, taste, colour or memories. Each dish goes through six steps: ingredients that swirl together in an anti-gravity field, one of ten shapes, heating or cooling without burning it, a topping, the vessel, and serving by robot arm. Citizens eat it and rate it from one to five stars; if overall satisfaction falls to zero, MEAL-7 is scrapped. The seven-day trial run adds ingredient shortages, preferences, allergies and an inspector whose ratings count double, and regulars each have their own story; after the ending, an endless mode opens, and a relaxed mode keeps citizens from leaving. It plays with the keyboard or by tapping on a phone in portrait or landscape, in Japanese, and saves progress in the browser. The README says the game was made with Claude Opus 5.5 (MAX) and credits the author as たぬ (tanuu5). The kitchen, citizens and dishes are procedural geometry and shaders and the sound is synthesised, with no image or audio files. Free on the developer's GitHub Pages site; the code is MIT-licensed.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe README says: “このゲームは Claude Opus 5.5(MAX)で作成しました” (this game was made with Claude Opus 5.5, MAX), and its credits list the author as たぬ and production as Claude Opus 5.5 (MAX). Unlike the developer's other READMEs, it does not name Claude Code or describe who did what. The technical notes describe Three.js r186 with TypeScript and Vite, marching-cubes metaballs for the mixing ingredients, procedural dish geometry with shader browning, scorch marks and frost, citizens with canvas-drawn expressions and inverse-kinematics arms, a two-link robot arm, and Web Audio for ambient sound, generated music, effects and voices, plus a script that checks recipes are not too alike.
Made with Claude Opus 5.5 (MAX), with たぬ credited as author, per the README. Three.js r186 (WebGLRenderer), TypeScript and Vite, built and published to GitHub Pages by GitHub Actions; a single-file HTML build is also available. Post-processing uses UnrealBloom and a custom final pass (chromatic aberration, vignette, scan lines, film grain, alarm and glitch effects). The game uses no image or audio files; fonts load from Google Fonts.

“このゲームは Claude Opus 5.5(MAX)で作成しました”Verification notes: AI use, story, features, controls, the licence (MIT) and the technical notes come from the developer's repository README, read through raw.githubusercontent.com on 6 Nov 2026; the README links the play address, which loaded that day. The README says the game was made with Claude Opus 5.5 (MAX) but, unlike the developer's other repositories, does not name Claude Code, so the tool is recorded as Claude. The release date is not stated: the README has no update history and the game does not appear in the developer's note posts up to 6 Nov 2026. The in-game “cooking AI” is a fictional role; the game's script contacts no AI services. The repository's stars and commit history were not checked (github.com was not reachable from our checker). Team size and location are not stated.
