About ROADSTER / 飞越晚高峰
A small side-scrolling arcade game in the browser, drawn in 3D with three.js. Your red roadster stays on the left of the screen while traffic comes at you from the right in groups, on the road and in the air: take off when a car comes at you on the ground, land when one comes at you in the air. Each flight lasts at most six seconds, the traffic speeds up as you go, and the run heads for a destination a few kilometres away. You switch between flying and driving with Space or E, or a button on a phone; there are also boost and brake controls, and your best result is kept. The developer, fatelei on V2EX, says the idea was to fly over traffic jams and that the game was made with Codex, chatting and revising as they went (边聊边改), and calls it a small prototype. Both the post and the game page call it an unofficial work. Free, with a Chinese interface.

We opened the page (title ROADSTER / 飞越晚高峰, page language zh-CN) and its scripts: the game loads a local copy of three.js and builds its car and traffic from simple shapes, with no image or model files of a real car seen. The post and the page call it unofficial (非官方) without saying what it is unofficial to, and no source names a car maker or brand, so no IP notice is recorded. The game page is on a subdomain of white-box.cc, whose main address redirects to a personal blog; the tie between the V2EX account and the site rests on the post.
