About Silly Kitty
A short top-down puzzle game about a cat that does not take orders. Kitty is out in the garden again, and all you control is a little hovering robot that kitty finds endlessly interesting: fly it around, keep kitty's attention and lure it home to its bed before the timer runs out. Kitty follows the robot while it can see it and stops to stare when it can't; it hates water, so one step into a puddle or a sprinkler's spray ends the level; it drops everything to play with yarn; it runs from the robot lawnmower, from the dog once it wakes up and from a sprinkler about to spray, without looking where it is going; and left alone too long, it dozes off. Each handmade level adds a twist, from puddles and yarn to lawnmowers, a sleeping dog, sprinklers and finally all of them at once, and finishing fast earns up to three stars, with progress saved in the browser. Following the jam's restriction, moving the robot is the only input, even in the menus, which are rooms you fly through; failed levels restart and cleared levels move on by themselves. The developer, linostar, writes that Claude built the whole game under the developer's direction, while the developer chose the concept and features, playtested every level and asked for changes. Made with Godot for Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 1 (theme Cat and Robot), where it ranked 20th of 36. Free in the browser on itch.io, with the arrow keys, WASD or a gamepad.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's jam answer: “Claude built the whole game under my direction. I chose the concept and the features, playtested every level and asked for changes.” The answer does not break the work down, name a model or say whether the chat app or Claude Code was used. In the developer's later Jamference entry, BrewMagic, the answer says Claude made the code, pixel art, sound, music and writing.

“Claude built the whole game under my direction. I chose the concept and the features, playtested every level and asked for changes.”Verification notes: AI use from the developer's answer on the official Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 1 submission page; gameplay, controls, engine (Made with Godot), languages (English) and AI disclosure from the itch.io page; both re-read on 6 Nov 2026. The answer says Claude built the whole game, with the developer choosing the concept and features and playtesting; it does not separate code from art or sound, so the code claim rests on “built the whole game” together with the Code tick in the itch.io AI disclosure, and no AI code share is recorded. The jam's own rule (“AI must be part of the build”) is not code-specific. The team list names only linostar (X handle @linostar_), so team size is recorded as one; same developer as BrewMagic. Release (4 Oct 2026, 09:00 UTC) and last update (20 Oct 2026, 06:03 UTC) from the itch.io page; the submission page said it was submitted 4 days and 11 hours before the 9 Oct, 07:00 UTC deadline. The page does not give a level count; the web build contains 15 level scenes (observed). The page lists keyboard as the input, and the description also mentions a gamepad. Jam results (11 ratings): 20th overall of 36 (3.545), 17th in Polish, 19th in Fun, 22nd in Use of AI. The web build (Godot index.js and index.pck) was checked and makes no calls to AI services. itch.io shows no public rating and no download count. The game was not played.
