About Tidewick
An incremental (idle) game about a small fishing cove on a rock in the sea, shown in 3D pixel art. You click the fisher to haul a line, hire a crew, and the cove grows: rowboats, a jetty, net racks, a smokehouse, a market stall, an ice house, a trawler and finally the lighthouse. Fish bite now and then for your Catch Book, shoals glint, bottles wash in and storms roll over. At dusk the cove lights its torches and bites come twice as often until dawn, which is the game's take on the jam theme, Torch. Once the lighthouse stands you can hold the Lantern Festival: the cove folds back to the rock and the hut, and the lanterns you keep raise your income for good. The cove keeps fishing while the tab is closed. The developer, Cocolito Collective, says Claude Code wrote all of the JavaScript, and Claude in the Claude app wrote the design document, drew every sprite and tile in code and composed the music and sounds, with no image, music or voice generators. Free to play in a desktop browser on itch.io; it was entered in AI Browser Game Jam 5.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission says the game used “Claude by Anthropic, and nothing else”, and that Claude Code wrote all of the JavaScript locally on the developer's PC: the game, the three.js scene, the sound engine and the automated Firefox checks. The itch.io page itself names no tool; its AI disclosure ticks Code, Graphics and Sounds.
Per the same jam answer, Claude in the Claude app wrote the design document and every batch brief, drew every sprite and tile in code, composed the music and sounds in code, and wrote the game's text. No image, music or voice generators were used.
Made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 with three.js. Claude in the Claude app planned the game (design document and batch briefs), drew the sprites and tiles in code and composed the music and sounds; Claude Code wrote all of the JavaScript and the automated Firefox checks. The only third-party asset credited is the Pixelify Sans font (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The page shows version 1.0.0, and a devlog is titled “UPDATE 1.0.1 (27 October)”.

“Claude by Anthropic, and nothing else. Claude Code wrote all of the JavaScript locally on my PC.”Verification notes: The tools come only from the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page (re-read on 4 Nov 2026), which the developer wrote; the itch.io page credits only “a game by Cocolito Collective” and the font, and its AI disclosure ticks Code, Graphics and Sounds. The 100% AI code share reflects “all of the JavaScript”. The answer is written in the first person (“my PC”), but the credits use a collective name, so team size and developer type are not recorded. Publication (27 Oct 2026, 00:25 UTC), version 1.0.0, the English language field and “Average session: About an hour” from the itch.io page; the 1.0.1 devlog was not opened. The game's script loads only its own asset files and makes no calls to AI services. Jam voting was still open on 4 Nov 2026, so no placement is recorded; itch.io shows no public rating. The game was not played.
