About Eyrie
A 3D co-op action roguelike in the browser. Players drop in, catch spirits and feed them to a shrine, then fight off waves of enemies and a giant obelisk boss that slams the ground and hurls stone hands; weapons such as a fan, a spear and sun cuffs gain boons as the run goes on, and the run ends if the shrine falls. The official submission describes it as “a drop-in co-op wave-based action roguelike” inspired by Sable and Guild Wars. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the entrant, slow chaz, lists Claude Code as the tool. It won the “Most Atmospheric” special award. Characters you meet talk through a scripted choice menu, not generated text. Free, with no login, on desktop and mobile browsers.
How it was built

Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine, genre, pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer and mobile flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 30 Apr 2026; final rank 6 of 945 entries); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Award from the official data and the organizer's winners post of 17 Jun 2026, which credits “Eyrie by @slowchaz”. The developer is identified only as slow chaz: the X profile @slowchaz (display name slow chaz, location “atl”) links slowchaz.com, whose portfolio lists Eyrie with a link to playeyrie.com. No real name, team size or full location is stated. The game's code only talks to its own game server, analytics and the jam widget; no calls to AI services were found, and NPC dialogue is a scripted menu. The jam page's widget counters showed 1,024 plays and 665 portal transfers for playeyrie.com on 3 Nov 2026 (observed; plays are sessions, not players or downloads, so neither is recorded as a metric). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 30 Apr 2026.
