About Rogue Lith
A neon sci-fi ship crawler in the browser, in which you fly a small craft freely in all directions through labs, mining tunnels, machine vaults and infected corridors inside an asteroid. The first five levels are procedurally generated, each with a lower room that leads further down. Every shot costs energy, you earn experience by destroying enemy bots or slipping through rooms unnoticed, and you spend levels on upgrades; flares, a flashlight, a sensor you can throw ahead and an IR viewer let you work with or against the dark, and journal entries you pick up tell what happened before you arrived. The entrant names Descent and Thief as the inspiration. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the submission lists Cursor as the tool, while the in-game credits list Cursor, Codex and Claude Code for coding, and generative AI tools for the music, 3D models, videos, narration and images. It finished 34th of 945 entries. Free in the browser; the submission marks it as multiplayer and mobile-ready.

Verification notes: Tool (Cursor), engine, genre, pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer and mobile flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 27 Apr 2026; final rank 34 of 945 entries, no award); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. The in-game About panel (labelled “April 2026 Build”) says the game is being made in April 2026 for #vibejam, says “Made by @ickack1”, points to the developer's 2025 Vibe Jam game Super Splash, and lists the tools by category. The developer is identified only by the handle ickack1: the X profile's display name is base12 and its location reads “kinda sf, kinda nyc”, so no real name or location is recorded. Team size is not stated. Gameplay from the game's own help panels. The game's code talks to its own Colyseus game server, Vercel analytics and the jam widget; no calls to AI services were found. The jam page's widget counters showed 1,224 plays and 21 portal transfers on 3 Nov 2026 (observed; sessions, not players or downloads, so not recorded as metrics). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 27 Apr 2026.
