About Factory Mayhem

A 3D factory game in the browser, subtitled Industrial Chaos Simulator. You walk the shop floor to carry, drop and throw parts, tap machines and fix breakdowns to hit each level's target before the timer runs out (60 seconds on the first level, up to 180 on the last), earning up to three stars; random events such as a wind surge, a power outage, thickening fog or a conveyor overload shake things up. There is a level select, a first-person view, a SCADA panel, a Plant Manager mode for designing and testing your own factory, and a two-player mode on one keyboard. The entrant, who works in digital manufacturing, pitches it as a chaotic co-op factory game and says the idea came from the factories the entrant sees almost every day. It was made with Three.js for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 800th of 945 entries. Free in the browser, played with a keyboard; the script also shows on-screen touch controls on phones and tablets, although the entrant answered No to mobile support.

Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Simulation), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (No), mobile (No) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 30 Apr 2026, 02:13 UTC; final rank 800 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: the game is on a subdomain of dzulfikar.com, the portfolio of Dzulfikar Ats Tsauri (IoT developer and MES consultant), which does not list the game. The jam data gives the X handle dzultsauri, while the portfolio links x.com/dzulfikarts; neither profile could be opened on 5 Nov 2026, so the two handles are not confirmed as the same account. The tie rests on the domain. Team size and location are not stated. The pitch calls it a co-op game and the entrant answered No to multiplayer; the game's script has a two-player mode on one keyboard (P1 WASD, P2 arrow keys), toggled with M. Controls (including on-screen touch controls shown on mobile devices), events, the per-level time limits (60–180 seconds) and modes from the game's page and script; the game was not played. No calls to AI services were found in the game's script. The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 30 Apr 2026.
