About Right Behind You
A short horror runner in the browser. You flee down a tunnel with an evil clown close behind, switching lanes, picking up stamina boosts and deciding when to stop: resting recovers stamina (the longer you rest, the more you get back), but the clown keeps coming. You can also look back over your shoulder to see how close it is. A run ends when the clown catches you or when you make it out of the tunnel, and the results show your distance and best run. On a keyboard you rest with Space and look back with V; on a touch screen there are buttons to switch lanes, stop and look back. The entrant says the idea came from hating clowns, and that they figured being chased by one for hours while making the game might also work as some form of exposure therapy. The win screen credits the AI tools: ElevenLabs for sound effects and music, ChatGPT for game design and Codex for coding. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Codex as the tool, and it finished 295th of 945 entries. Free in the browser.
