About Stoke Slopes
A multiplayer arcade skiing and snowboarding game in the browser. Everyone starts in a mountain lodge where other players are shown live and can chat and use emotes; walk up to a sign to pick one of four slopes, from Green to Double Black, then race downhill collecting tokens, threading slalom gates, hitting boost pads and ramps and landing flips and spins for points. A run ends on a score card with time, speed bonus and combo, and each slope has its own persistent leaderboard, a ghost replay of your best run and a daily challenge shared by everyone on that slope. There is also a terrain park with rails and a halfpipe, and achievements to unlock. According to the pitch it runs on vanilla JavaScript and the developer's own Cloudflare backend with no third-party services. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 38th of 945 entries. Free, on desktop and on phones with a touch joystick.
How it was built
VerifiedIn the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Claude Code as the tool and answers Yes to the AI-written field. The game's changelog is organised into numbered work sessions but does not say how Claude Code was used or which model ran it; the submission covers the jam version only.
- OfficialJam rule 3: at least 90% of the code has to be written by AI. — Vibe Jam (Pieter Levels)
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 in vanilla JavaScript with Three.js r160 loaded from a CDN, with Claude Code named as the tool. Rooms, live presence and chat run over WebSockets, and scores and leaderboards go to the game's own API, which the pitch says runs on Cloudflare. The public changelog lists the first multiplayer prototype on 3–4 April 2026 and twenty numbered sessions of work up to 29 April 2026.

“Stoke Slopes is a multiplayer arcade skiing game where players spawn in a mountain lodge, pick a slope, race downhill collecting tokens, and compete on persistent leaderboards — all running on vanilla JS and Cloudflare with zero third-party services.”Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine, genre, pitch, inspiration (“Love of skiing”) and the multiplayer, mobile and portal flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 11 Apr 2026, 00:33 UTC; final rank 38 of 945 entries, no award); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Features and dates come from the game's interface and its public changelog. The jam data lists the genre as Action, Adventure; the game is recorded here as arcade racing because runs are timed and scored downhill races. The developer is known only by the X handle pr0grammerhum0r given in the jam data; on 4 Nov 2026 that handle resolved to “Programmer Humor”, a large humour account with no bio or website, so we could not confirm that it belongs to the entrant, and no real name or developer page is recorded. Team size and location are not stated. The page's code was checked on 4 Nov 2026: it talks only to the game's own rooms, score and leaderboard endpoints and the jam widget, with no calls to AI services. The jam page's widget counters showed 2,576 plays and 10,674 portal transfers for stokeslopes.com on 4 Nov 2026 (observed; sessions, not players or downloads, so not recorded as metrics). The release date is not stated; the changelog dates the first public version to 3–4 April 2026 and the jam submission is dated 11 Apr 2026.
