About 吞噬进化论
A single-player pixel-art action roguelite on TapTap. You play an ugly-cute creature in the abyss and grow only by eating: prey turns into evolution points and genes from six lines (fangs, shell, fins, toxin, psychic and flame), raising any two lines to level 3 unlocks one of 15 gene fusions, and each of the nine species has its own escape skill. A run goes down through six regions to six abyss overlords, which sleep in their lairs until you decide to fight. The developer's launch post says the game uses no texture images at all: everything is drawn pixel by pixel in code, so a creature's shape changes with its genes. Updates in October 2026 added more overlords per region and a search-and-extract treasure mode. According to an interview published by TapTap's developer-services team, the developer is a 3D character modeller with no game-development experience who works by prompting AI: first a minimal HTML demo to test whether an idea is fun, then AI-generated procedural content generators, AI-drafted design documents for systems, and AI-written scripts that play the game like players of different skill to test each change. It is a free trial (试玩 DEMO) on Android, iOS and PC, filed under TapTap制造 (TapTap Maker).

How it was built
Partially verifiedTapTap's developer-services team interviewed the developer, 哥谭市清洁工, a 3D character modeller by trade with no game-development experience. Per the interview, every project starts with a minimal HTML demo produced by AI, and is dropped if it is not fun or has too many bugs to fix; the core framework of this game took about a week. The developer describes an idea, has AI generate procedural content generators and keeps regenerating until one is good enough (the developer compares it to drawing lottery tickets), works out systems such as inventory and meta-progression by discussing options with AI and having it write the final design document, and has AI write scripts that simulate players of different skill levels to compare balance before and after a change. The developer decides what to test and what to change, and the interview says balance was finally settled over several rounds in which the developer relayed a player test group's feedback to AI to make the changes. The interview does not name the AI tool; TapTap files the game under TapTap制造 (TapTap Maker).

Prompt-driven: AI builds a throwaway HTML demo first, then generators and systems are iterated with AI, AI-written player-simulation scripts check each change, and a player test group settles the balance. The developer's launch post says all graphics are drawn pixel by pixel in code, with no texture images.

Verification notes: AI use, the developer's background and the workflow come from an interview published on 27 Oct 2026 in the TapTap Maker forum by TapTap's own developer-services account (TapTap开发者服务); it is a platform source, not independent press. The interview does not name the AI tool or say whether the code was written in Maker's cloud agent or a local agent; TapTap Maker is recorded because TapTap files the game under TapTap制造. The game description and the code-drawn graphics come from the developer's launch post (30 Sep 2026, China time), which does not itself mention AI.
