Brickbrag
A free multiplayer brick-building world in the browser: build brick by brick on a shared map, then drive, fly, ride the bus or race. The developer says it was built with Claude Code (Opus 5.5).
Official site brickbrag.com, verified Nov 3, 2026. The developer's own site, posted by the developer as the Show HN link; the site's imprint and credits name DIE ANTWORT · Büro für Informationstechnik GmbH as operator and maker.
Rights holder / original work: LEGO brick designs (The LEGO Group), via the LDraw.org parts library
Brickbrag's credits say the 3D shapes of all its bricks are derived from the LDraw.org parts library (CC BY 4.0), which LDraw.org describes as an open standard for LEGO CAD programs used to create virtual LEGO models. The Brickbrag site does not use the LEGO name, and no source shows any connection to or endorsement by The LEGO Group. (LDraw.org)

About Brickbrag
Brickbrag is a free online building game in the browser, on a computer or a phone, with no install and no sign-up. Everyone online shares one world of bricks. Outside the city centre and the streets you can build anywhere and work on builds together, or buy your own lot with in-game coins so that only you can place and remove bricks there. The bricks are meant to behave like real ones: they snap onto studs, can be turned at an angle about a single stud, and a statics view shows which parts of a build are close to giving way; build too boldly and it falls down. A workbench lets you pre-assemble ceilings, roofs and other parts and place them in one piece. Beyond building, the world has cars, buses, an airfield, a race track with a leaderboard, a Brick Store and areas such as a volcano, a winter forest, a beach, a canyon and flower fields; since 22 Oct 2026 you can also build your own car at the Car Dealer, test it and sell it to other players for coins. The developer, posting on Hacker News on launch day, describes it as a GTA-style open brick world that grew out of a plan, eight days earlier, to make a cozy little brick builder, and says it was built with Claude Code (Opus 5.5), three.js, Node and SQLite. The site credits the game to the Vienna company DIE ANTWORT · Büro für Informationstechnik GmbH and the brick shapes to the LDraw.org parts library (CC BY 4.0). Nothing can be bought in the game, per its terms; businesses can sponsor buildings, buses, kiosks and banners in the city.
How it was built
Partially verifiedIn the launch comment on Hacker News the developer says the game was built with Claude Code (Opus 5.5), three.js, Node and SQLite, starting eight days before launch. In later replies the developer says most of the time went into the small details, “the last 20% where AI still needs a lot of human guidance and iteration”, and presents the game as a way “to show what is possible nowadays with AI coding even if you are not owning a game studio”. The developer does not say how much of the code Claude Code wrote.
A three.js client with a Node server and SQLite, per the developer. The credits page also lists cannon-es for physics, three.quarks for particles, postprocessing and N8AO for the image, and ws and better-sqlite3 on the server. The brick shapes come from the LDraw.org parts library, which Brickbrag's makers converted into browser meshes, simplified for distant bricks and baked ahead. The developer names stud snapping, chunking, client-side prediction, baked geometry and three.js lighting as the main lessons from building it, and says it was developed on a Mac in Chrome with a 9-year-old as the main playtester. After launch the game was updated almost daily, with each change listed on its public changelog.

“Built with Claude Code (Opus 5.5), three.js, Node and SQLite.”Verification notes: AI use, the tech stack and the eight-day build come from the developer's comments in the Show HN thread (story posted 12 Oct 2026, 21:03 UTC; the developer's first comment 21:05 UTC); the eight days are as stated at launch, and the game kept changing afterwards. Features come from the official site and its changelog, whose first entry (12 Oct 2026) reads “Brickbrag is live”; the changelog also notes a Product Hunt launch on 16 Oct 2026. The operator, address and company details come from the imprint, the libraries and the LDraw licence from the credits page, and the pricing from the terms of use. The Hacker News account neuling is tied to the company only through the Show HN link and the site footer “Built by @neuling2k”; team size is not stated. The bricks are derived from the LDraw.org parts library under CC BY 4.0, as the site credits; the site does not use the LEGO name (see the IP notice). The game was not played; the robot bus driver and other in-game characters are described as scripted parts of the world, and nothing on the site describes AI-generated content during play.
