About Paper Peg
A peg-clearing puzzle game: you aim, shoot, and watch a paper ball bounce its way down the board, trying to clear every mustard target peg before your balls run out and to land the ball in the bucket at the bottom for a free one. The campaign has 50 levels that move from a sunny meadow past the seaside and a busy town, above the clouds and into the starry night, adding long pegs laid along ramps, walls, bumpers, sliding and spinning pegs, portals, winds and force fields, with a short tutorial and a hint whenever something new appears. Power pegs include multiball, fireball, bombs, lightning, a magnet, a big ball and a super guide, and penalty pegs work against you. There is a daily challenge with the same level for everyone, challenge codes for sending a friend a score to beat, and a level editor whose levels can be shared as codes. It supports mouse, touch and gamepad (with rumble), English and German, symbols on pegs for colour-blind players and a reduced-motion setting. The developer, ccoors, designed and directed it and writes that Claude wrote the code and drafted the levels; all the art is drawn by the game's own code, and the music was composed as code, also written with AI. Free on itch.io in the browser and for Windows, Linux and Android, with no accounts, ads or tracking, and dedicated to the public domain (CC0).
How it was built
Partially verifiedUnder “How it was made” the developer calls the game an experiment in how far a game gets when a person steers and generative AI does the making: “ccoors designed and directed it: what the game is, how it should feel, what to change and what to cut. Claude wrote the code and drafted the levels.” There are no generated images; the art is drawn by the game's own code, the music was composed as code “also written with AI” and played with FluidSynth, and the sound effects are synthesised by the game. Which Claude product or model was used is not stated.
Made with Godot, with the developer designing and directing and Claude writing the code and drafting the levels. Art is generated by the game's code rather than image models, the music is composed as code and rendered with FluidSynth, and sound effects are synthesised at runtime. The developer describes it as a design study and practice in polishing and publishing games, and dedicates it to the public domain (CC0).

“ccoors designed and directed it: what the game is, how it should feel, what to change and what to cut. Claude wrote the code and drafted the levels.”Verification notes: Features, controls, languages and AI use from the developer's itch.io page, re-read on 6 Nov 2026 (status In development, HTML5, Windows, Linux and Android, genre Puzzle, made with Godot, Languages German and English, inputs keyboard, mouse, gamepad and touchscreen). Team size one: the page describes “a person” steering and ccoors designing and directing, and speaks in the first person (“I tried to keep the ‘slop feeling’ at a minimum”); no real name or location is given. “Claude wrote the code” is not a share, so no AI code percentage is recorded. The downloads are version 0.9.5, uploaded on 2 Oct 2026 (14:23 UTC); itch.io shows no publication date and no rating. No other game is named by the developer, so no comparison is made here. The page says the game collects and sends nothing; the research note on the HTML5 build found no calls to AI services. The game was not played.
