About Sector Dive
A free roguelite first-person shooter that runs in the browser and is designed for smartphone touch controls. Stages are generated from a random seed, saves let you dive repeatedly, and after defeating a boss you choose to push on or go back, with a risk of losing what you carry. The developer, beatdjam, says on their blog that Claude Code wrote the implementation and that they did not write the code by hand, instead playing builds and deciding rules and design. It is playable in the browser on the developer's GitHub Pages site, with no payment asked.
How it was built
VerifiedThe developer says the implementation was left entirely to Claude Code and they did not write code themselves; they played builds, gave feedback and decided rules and structure. Claude produced the first prototype in about 15 minutes, added smoke tests on its own, and later made the trailer (PR #17). Sonnet and Haiku were used for subagents.
Agent-driven: Claude Code implements while the developer plays, gives feedback and sets direction. The repository has a CLAUDE.md with rules, pre-commit checks and subagents ("worker" and "scout"); pull requests run type checks, lint, tests and a build in CI, so the agent can keep extending the game.
