About Stakk

A competitive block puzzle in the browser. You place sets of three pieces on your board and fill whole rows or columns to clear them, and every clear sends junk to your opponent's board. Clearing lines also earns energy for a shield, held with the right mouse button, that blocks all incoming junk while it drains. The modes are a multiplayer lobby for up to 99 players in which the last one standing wins, ranked 1v1 matches in which everyone starts at 0 Elo and climbs tiers (ranked play needs an account), matches against a computer bot on easy, medium or hard, and hand-crafted puzzles; a tutorial walks through the basics. The entrant's pitch reads “Block Blast, Multiplayer, Tetris 99/Tetr.io” and names Tetris and Block Blast as the inspiration. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 215th of 945 entries. Free in the browser, with a Windows desktop client (version 0.1.0) offered as a download from the game page.

Supporting evidence
Development approach

Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 as a Next.js web app, with Claude Code named as the tool; the entrant gives ThreeJS as the engine. Accounts, ranked matches and lobbies run on the game's own servers, and a separate Windows client is published on GitHub.

Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Puzzle, Competitive Block Puzzle), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (Yes), mobile (Yes) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 10 Apr 2026, 18:39 UTC; final rank 215 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. The engine is the entrant's answer only; the scripts loaded on the start screen did not show Three.js. Developer: the jam data gives x.com/Ultramouk (the profile could not be read on 5 Nov 2026), and the game page credits “Created by Mook” with a link to that profile; the Windows client is published by the GitHub account Wmoook, linked from the game page. No full name, location or team size is given. Modes, rules, the shield and the tutorial texts come from the game's script; the game was not played and the Windows client was not run. The VS Bot opponents are ordinary computer players: no calls to AI services were found in the game's code. Pieces, rows and columns, Elo and tiers are the game's own; the entrant names Tetris 99, Tetr.io and Block Blast as inspiration only. The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 10 Apr 2026.
