Worms-style artillery with frogs: turn-based team matches on destructible terrain, with 22 weapons and four biomes.
Official site croaks.cc, verified Nov 3, 2026. Entry URL submitted by the entrant in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data under the X handle thomaskanze. The game page names Thomas Kanze as author in its metadata and links x.com/thomaskanze from its footer credit (“made by one frog with a laptop”).
Rights holder / original work: Worms (Team17)
The game presents itself as “worms, but with frogs”, its page metadata lists “worms clone” as a keyword, and the entrant names Worms as the inspiration. Several weapon names match or echo weapons from the Worms series, such as Banana Bomb, Sheep and Holy Toad. The characters are frogs rather than worms; whether any artwork or sound comes from Worms was not checked, and no source shows a licence or permission from Team17. (Thomas Kanze)
VibeGameDB lists this game only to document that it was made with AI coding tools. We do not host it, we do not represent the rights holder, and listing it does not mean it is licensed.

About CROAKS
A multiplayer artillery game in the browser in which teams of frogs take turns to shell each other across destructible terrain. You walk with A and D, hop with Space, aim with the mouse and hold F to charge a shot, and you can swing on a grappling tongue. The armory lists 22 weapons, from the unlimited Tongue Cannon and the Pond Mortar to the Holy Toad, Banana Bomb and Sheep, with airstrikes, girders, jet packs and parachutes among the utilities, and matches take place in four biomes: Ice Pads, Cursed Swamp, Dry Bayou and Lava Croaking. Find Opponent matches you against a real player and falls back to a computer-controlled bot when nobody is online; there are also a direct bot match, a Survival wave mode, a Daily challenge, custom matches, games against a friend via a shared link and an Elo leaderboard. The page's own description promises two-minute matches for 2v2, 4v4 or 6v6 teams. The entrant pitches it as “worms, but with frogs.” and says they played Worms when young and wanted to bring those memories back with frogs. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 338th of 945 entries. Free in the browser.

“I used to play worms when I was young and wanted to bring those memories back but with frogs.”Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine (PixiJS), genre (Shooter, Strategy, Artillery), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (Yes), mobile (Yes) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 27 Apr 2026, 20:50 UTC; final rank 338 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: the jam data gives the X handle thomaskanze (display name Thomas Kanze); the game page's metadata names Thomas Kanze as author and creator, and its footer links the same X profile. The developer is recorded as solo from the footer credit “made by one frog with a laptop”; team size is not otherwise stated. Weapons, biomes, modes and controls come from the game page and its script; the page's marquee says 21 weapons, its armory lists 22 and its metadata says “12+”, so the armory count is used. The bot opponents are ordinary computer players: the game's code connects only to its own servers, analytics and the jam widget, and no calls to AI services were found. The game was not played. The page's “Frog of the week” panel shows sample player stats, which are not recorded. The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 27 Apr 2026.
