About Ranger Danger

A pixel-art tower defence game in the browser with roguelite runs and direct action combat. You build towers and walls to block the enemies' paths and also control the ranger, attacking enemies yourself; waves grow into bullet-hell attacks with bosses. The game page promises biomes “from lush forests to volcanic wastes and beyond”; in the current script the tundra and volcanic stages are marked as not yet implemented. Coins and gold pay for tower upgrades and other unlocks, and a short tutorial covers placing and upgrading an arrow tower. The entrant says they tried a few one-shot idea prompts and kept this one because it had the most fun game loop. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 389th of 945 entries. Free in the browser.
