【耐久ゲーム】60秒の過酷なアイ
A one-button survival game: steer a little “I” away from moving shapes for 60 seconds; its developer says Claude Desktop built it in a day through a Unity MCP server.

About 【耐久ゲーム】60秒の過酷なアイ
A free one-button browser game made for unityroom's Unity 1-Week Game Jam on the theme “あい”. The hero is a capital letter I (アイ, which is the whole nod to the theme, the developer admits) that keeps sliding sideways; each tap or click reverses its direction, and touching anything sends you back to the start. Shapes move around it in set patterns, and you clear the game by surviving 60 seconds. The unityroom page puts a session at about 3 minutes, and the graphics are plain single-colour shapes. The music is the free track サイバー43 from 魔王魂. It was posted on 25 Apr 2025, after the jam's deadline. The developer says the game was made in one day with Claude Desktop connected to the Unity editor through an MCP server, and that the only code edits by hand were small parameter tweaks.
How it was built
VerifiedThe developer's Qiita devlog says the game was made with Claude Desktop, on the paid Pro plan (which the post says gave access to Claude 3.7), connected to the Unity editor through a Japanese-made Unity MCP server and to the project's Assets folder through the MCP filesystem server. The developer gave a short concept, asked for one step at a time with an explanation and a human check before each change, and started from a minimal working version. Claude wrote the C# code and did most of the editor work: when the developer found attaching components by hand tedious, Claude added code that attaches them itself, and it built a helper that generates obstacle prefabs and their shape images, then called it from code. It also placed the obstacle patterns from descriptions in Japanese. The developer says the only hand edits to the code were small parameter tweaks, which were quicker to do by hand. Claude also suggested a title, which was not used. A week of earlier attempts at a puzzle game with test-driven development had failed, which the developer blames on letting the AI generate more code than could be followed.
Agent-driven Unity development for a game jam, after a failed first try. The developer spent more than a week trying to build a puzzle game with Claude and test-driven development; the code kept growing, would not compile and nothing ran. Five days after the deadline the developer threw it all away and started a new concept, chosen in about ten minutes so that it needed only single-colour graphics. The rules for the second attempt were to state that it was a short solo project with no tests, to have the AI explain each step and wait for a human check, and to build the smallest working version first. The game was finished in one day, in the mornings before and the evenings after the developer's day job; the post's title puts it at five hours. The developer concludes that code generated faster than one can follow does not work, and that some code reading is still needed.

“【UnityMCP】Claude Desktopを使ってコードを一切書かずに5時間でゲームを作った話”Verification notes: AI use from the developer's Qiita devlog (posted 27 Apr 2025), which links the unityroom game page. Unlike あと一番出口, this unityroom page lists no related article, so the link between the game and the devlog runs one way; we treat the unityroom account ryuryu and the Qiita user NNNiNiNNN as the same developer because the same pairing is confirmed in both directions for あと一番出口, and both games are posted by the same unityroom user. The devlog's title says no code was written, but the body says the developer made small parameter edits by hand, so no AI code share is recorded. The post names the paid Pro plan and says it gave access to Claude 3.7; it does not otherwise name the model. Jam theme, posting date (25 Apr 2025, updated 26 Apr) and the music credit from the unityroom page; the jam's development period (13–20 Apr 2025) from unityroom's event page, and the developer says the entry came five days after the deadline. No jam result is recorded. The unityroom page showed 2,934 views, 14 ratings and 4 comments on 4 Nov 2026 (observed; we have no metric kind for unityroom counts, so they are not recorded as metrics). No source mentions generative AI running in the game.
Development history
unityroom's Unity 1-Week Game Jam opens with the theme “あい” (development period to 20 Apr, 20:00 JST).
OfficialunityroomPosted free on unityroom as a jam entry, after the development deadline; the developer says the game was rebuilt from scratch in one day after a week of failed attempts.
The developer publishes a Qiita devlog on building the game with Claude Desktop and a Unity MCP server.
