About Brew Boss

A 3D café management game in the browser. You run a cozy corner café in a busy city centre: click a customer to take their order, then make the drink yourself in short timing games, pulling espresso shots, steaming milk to the right foam and topping up tall glasses. Between orders you buy and place furniture and decoration, from tables, counter seats and remote-work desks to plants, bookshelves, a chalkboard and a kids' corner, and expand step by step with pastries, teas and chai, smoothies and frappés, and a front patio. Different pieces attract different customers, such as remote workers and families. The entrant pitches it as “Build your cafe empire” and names The Sims 2 and Dave the Diver as partial inspiration. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 73rd of 945 entries. Free, played with the mouse on a computer; the submission marks it as not mobile-ready.

— lukeswissman, Vibe Jam 2026 games data (entrant submissions, final rank, awards)

Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine, genre (“Strategy, Simulation”), pitch, inspiration (“Partially Sims2, Dave the Diver”) and the multiplayer (No), mobile (No) and portal (No) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 1 May 2026, 13:40 UTC, three minutes after the 13:37 UTC deadline given on the jam page, yet still ranked; final rank 73 of 945 entries, no award); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. The Sims 2 and Dave the Diver are named as inspiration only; no names or assets from them were found. Developer: the jam data gives the X handle lukeswissman (bio “Building things”, linking trnr.bike), which matches the GitHub Pages account hosting the game; no real name, location or team size is given. No repository for the game could be read (a README at lukeswissman/brewboss returned not found), so no README or licence was checked. Drinks, timing games, furniture and expansions come from the game's script. The game's script makes no network calls apart from the jam widget; no calls to AI services were found. The jam page's widget counter showed 518 plays for lukeswissman.github.io on 4 Nov 2026 (observed; counted per host, so it may include other pages on that GitHub Pages site; sessions, not players or downloads, so not recorded as a metric). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 1 May 2026.

Development history

  1. Entered in the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 on the deadline day (submission date in the official games data); the jam required at least 90% AI-written code. Final rank 73 of 945 entries, no award.
