About DEMONETIZED: The Authenticity Purge
A free satirical survivor roguelite with a cyberpunk look, played in the browser in English or Spanish. You play T.O.P.E., the premium moderation AI of a video platform called TheirTube, hired to “clean The Feed”: the official mission is to protect authenticity, the real one to turn inconvenient human channels into closed cases, extract what value they have left and erase them. Runs are built from action cards and upgrades picked between waves, with a boss and a set of named wave themes; the upgrade names parody the platform's moderation language (appeals, takedowns, human review). The developer, who posts as TheINAOG, says the idea came from the recent debate over platform demonetisation and channel removals, framed as a satire of corporate “brand safety” language used to erase human creators while still extracting their value. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Codex as the tool. It finished 601st of 945 entries.
How it was built
Partially verifiedIn the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Codex as the tool and answers Yes to the AI-written field. No devlog describes how Codex was used. Upgrade cards named after AI products in the game's code are part of the satire, not AI services the game calls.
- OfficialJam rule 3: at least 90% of the code has to be written by AI. — Vibe Jam (Pieter Levels)
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 with Three.js, with Codex named as the tool. All interface text ships in English and Spanish with an in-game language switch. The game's About text says the source is in a private repository.

“I love progression-based games, so I wanted to build something compact and instantly playable, with cards, upgrades, and roguelite chaos.”Verification notes: Tool (Codex), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Action, Shooter, Roguelite Survivor), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (No), mobile (Yes) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 1 May 2026, 01:40 UTC; final rank 601 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 6 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: pseudonymous. The game's About text links x.com/TheINAOG under “Made by”; that X profile's website is iaen.es, which calls itself the anonymous workshop of IAnMove and says, in the first person, “Soy @TheINAOG en X” (I am @TheINAOG on X). No real name, location or team size is recorded. The story text, the card-and-upgrade structure, wave themes and the EN/ES switch come from the game page and its code; the game was not played. TheirTube is the game's fictional platform; no real platform's name or logo was found in the game. Upgrade ids in the code reference AI products (for example “claude-lattice”, “codex-overclock”, “chatgpt-router”) but are shown in the game under neutral names such as “Trust Lattice” and “Script Router”; they are not API calls. The game's code was checked for calls to AI services and none were found. The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 1 May 2026.
