About FIRST LINE
FIRST LINE is a work simulation and mystery set in 2001. You are the first-line helpdesk technician at Meridora Solutions, which runs IT support for dozens of client companies on an operating system from another era. You reset passwords, recover crashed machines and calm angry callers, closing tickets before the service deadline runs out. How you speak to people matters: patience earns trust but drains your energy, sarcasm costs someone else, stress builds through the day and mistakes follow. Fixes you learn go into the company wiki, so you get faster because you actually learn the job, and colleagues, management and the internal news feed remember what you did. Then a ticket arrives from Floor 7, in a six-floor building, and you piece together the truth from calls, forgotten files and things that were never meant to exist. The store page lists 12 diagnostic minigames inspired by real IT tools, a story campaign, an endless mode and a shared daily shift, plus a calm mode. The solo developer, a former helpdesk supervisor who says they are not a trained programmer, writes in the Steam AI disclosure that the game's code, including the systems that draw every visual and synthesize all audio at runtime, was written with Claude Code under their direction. The full game is coming soon on Steam for Windows; a free demo has been available since 12 Aug 2026. English and European Portuguese.

How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's Steam AI disclosure says the human developer designed and directed the game, including the gameplay systems, mechanics, narrative and every creative decision, and that the game's code, including the systems that render all visuals and synthesize all audio at runtime, was written with an AI coding assistant, Claude Code, under that direction. The English localization and parts of the store text were also produced with AI assistance; the store art is rendered by the same AI-written code. The game includes no pre-generated AI images, audio or video. No model is named.
The developer designed the game from years of helpdesk supervising and directed Claude Code, which wrote the code. There are no pre-made art or audio files: per the store page and disclosure, every visual is rendered at runtime and the music and sound effects are synthesized in code, alongside extensive procedural generation.

“The game's code — including the systems that render all visuals and synthesize all audio at runtime — was written with an AI coding assistant (Claude Code) under that direction.”Verification notes: The AI claim and the tool come from the developer-written AI disclosure on the game's Steam page, which names Claude Code for the code. Solo: the store description says the game is made by a solo developer who was a helpdesk supervisor and "isn't a trained programmer". On 4 Nov 2026 the Steam store API lists the full game as "Coming soon" with no price, and a demo (app 5061530, free, Windows) released 12 Aug 2026; languages English and European Portuguese. The horror genre follows the store's "Psychological Horror" tag and the mystery premise; Steam's auto-generated regional ratings (Germany 16 for horror and harsh language) are not shown as a maturity rating, and Steam shows no mature-content descriptors. The store page showed no user reviews on 4 Nov 2026, so no review figures are recorded. No website or social account is linked. Location is not stated.
