About Тихий перевал
Тихий перевал (The Quiet Pass) is a short first-person psychological horror game for Windows, made to look like an original PlayStation game: 480×360 resolution, snapping vertices, dithering and fog in place of draw distance. Anton returns to the forest where, a year earlier, a veranda burned down and his brother Kirill died; he only wants to reach the place and close the question, but the forest remembers more than he does. There are three chapters (camp, river, mountain pass), three dreams and three endings, and the ending depends on what Anton is ready to admit, through a journal, anchors and an Acceptance mechanic. There is no combat, no chase and no death outside the endings: if you freeze, you wake by the fire. One figure stands in the fog and does not chase you. The sound (wind, water, fire, footsteps, breathing, a night drone) is procedural, there is no voice acting, and Russian and English can be switched at any time. The page carries a content warning for fire, the loss of a loved one and references to suicide. The developer, salfetka, writes that the game was made to show that anyone can create their own project with AI, and calls it mediocre. The page says the whole game was built by an AI agent, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash running in OpenCode, which wrote the code, scenes, shaders, sound, text and interface while the account owner set the tasks, played the builds and said what to fix. Made with Godot 4.7.2; a free download on itch.io.
How it was built
Partially verifiedDeepSeek V4.1 Flash running in the OpenCode agent. The itch.io page says, in Russian and English: “The whole game was built by an AI agent — DeepSeek V4.1 Flash running in OpenCode. Code, scenes, shaders, sound, text and UI were written by the model under the direction of the account owner, who set the tasks, played the builds and said what to fix.” The short description adds that the game was created entirely by a free AI agent. Neither DeepSeek nor OpenCode is in our tool list, so the tool is recorded as undisclosed.
Per the itch.io page, an AI agent (DeepSeek V4.1 Flash in OpenCode) wrote the code, scenes, shaders, sound, text and interface, while the account owner set the tasks, played the builds and said what to fix. No asset was bought or taken from third-party packs: all geometry is assembled from primitives inside Godot scenes, textures are drawn in code, and sound and music are synthesised by a script (tools/audio_gen.py) into 22.05 kHz WAV files. There is no voice acting, only subtitles.

“The whole game was built by an AI agent — DeepSeek V4.1 Flash running in OpenCode.”Verification notes: AI use from the itch.io page, read on 6 Nov 2026, which gives every section in Russian and English. The 100% AI code share reflects “The whole game was built by an AI agent” and “Code, scenes, shaders, sound, text and UI were written by the model”. The page's opening lines are in the first person (“With this game, I want to show that anyone can create their own project using AI”), while the how-it-was-made section refers to “the account owner”; we treat both as the developer's own statements. Story, features, the PS1-style rendering, engine, system requirements and the content warning come from the same page; publication (28 Oct 2026, 15:00 UTC) and version 1.0.1 from its file list. The itch.io AI disclosure ticks AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds and Text. The game is an offline Windows download and the page describes no AI features in play; the binary was not inspected. Team size is not stated. The game was not played.
