About YAR: Navala Siege

A 3D action adventure in the browser in which you play a cat fighting alongside a frog companion. The game runs on a day and night cycle: your objective is to survive the siege and destroy the dungeon's doorway, you roam the map for random items, and when night falls the siege begins and you defend the castle gate, with a cannon on the wall loaded with cannonballs that a blacksmith forges during the day. A wizard's quest to bring down a stomping ogre rewards a grappling hook, kills can be spent at a trader on upgrades and siege tools, gravity runes and a big bell help hold back the waves, and after victory you can continue into endless waves. The entrant's pitch reads “Destroy the dungeon, defend the castle, and fight alongside your frog companion.”, and the entrant names the game Black Desert as the main inspiration, aiming for a stylised take on dark fantasy. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Codex as the tool. It finished 396th of 945 entries. Free in the browser on desktop.

Verification notes: Tool (Codex), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Action, Adventure, RPG), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (No), mobile (No) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 30 Apr 2026, 12:00 UTC; final rank 396 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: the jam data gives the X handle inxanity06 (display name “inxanity!”, “accelerated generalist | free web games”), linked from the game's title screen and matching the x06.wtf domain. The developer is pseudonymous; no real name or team size is given, and the profile's location field reads “UA/DE”, so no location is recorded. The site linked from the profile does not list this game. The day-night loop, quests, NPCs and items come from the game's scripts; the game was not played. The scripts also contain developer debug tools, which are not described as features. No calls to AI services were found in the game's code. Black Desert is named by the entrant as inspiration only. The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 30 Apr 2026.
