About Ink Arcade

Ink Arcade is a free pair of browser shooting games built on one idea: you only aim and shoot. In INK RAIL, a 3D rail shooter that moves along its track on its own, your shots fire automatically on the sixteenth notes of the music while you aim (a manual mode is in the menu); hitting a target dead centre counts as PERFECT, combos raise the score multiplier and the pitch, bombs have to be shot before they get close, smiley faces must not be shot, and a boss called BIG TARGET waits near the end, followed by fireworks and confetti. Its four difficulties, EASY, NORMAL, HARD and INSANE, change the speed, the number of targets and the tempo, and the high score for each is saved in the browser. In INK DASH the characters run around by themselves and you aim and shoot ink; the team that has painted more of the ground after 90 seconds wins. Both play with a mouse or touch. The README credits planning and supervision to the developer, たぬ (tanuu5), and the implementation to Claude Opus 5.5 in Claude Code, and says the repository's code was made in conversation with Claude Opus 5.5. In Japanese, free on the developer's GitHub Pages site; the code is MIT-licensed.

Development approach

Planned and supervised by one developer, with the implementation credited to Claude Opus 5.5 in Claude Code. Each game is a single HTML file with no build step; 3D is drawn with Three.js r170 loaded from a CDN, music and sound effects are synthesised live with the Web Audio API, and textures are drawn on a canvas, so the games use no image or audio files.

Verification notes: Credits, features, tech notes and licence (MIT) come from the developer's repository README, read through raw.githubusercontent.com on 4 Nov 2026; the README links the play address. The menu page and both game pages (ink-rail.html, ink-dash.html) loaded that day; they load only Three.js from jsDelivr and Google Fonts and call no AI services. The release date is not stated in the README or on the pages, and none of the developer's note posts that we read mention the game. The repository's stars and commit history were not checked (github.com was not reachable from our checker). Team size and location are not stated.
