About Möbius Strip
A combat racing game in the browser in which the last rider still alive wins. You race along twisting, gravity-defying tracks, and boost burns your “grey hull”, which heals back if you hold off; taking hits while you still have grey hull costs double, so the game asks you to pick your moments. There is a tutorial race, quick single-player races, multiplayer parties and public quick matches, pilot and vehicle selection, cosmetic toppers and trails, stats, medals and unlockables, plus race commentary from an announcer. The game recommends headphones and a game controller and supports mouse and keyboard, Xbox-style controllers and rebinding. The entrant pitches it as racing set to guitar solos and explosions, and says they wanted to use AI creatively, “more like a brush than a shortcut”, to push into art, animation, audio and visual polish. The credits name Will Yaworsky as the maker, with help from Claude Code (“main co-pilot”), Codex (“pinch-hitter when the Claude Max 20× ran dry”) and Gemini (the music). It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool, and it finished 240th of 945 entries. Free in the browser.
How it was built
Partially verifiedIn the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Claude Code as the tool and answers Yes to the AI-written field. The game's credits list, under “With help from”, “Claude Code — main co-pilot”. No devlog describes how Claude Code was used or which model; the Codex credit mentions a Claude Max 20× plan.

Credited in the same list as “pinch-hitter when the Claude Max 20× ran dry”, that is, used when the developer's Claude usage ran out.
Credited in the same list as having “did the music”; the sources do not say that Gemini wrote any of the game's code.
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 on Babylon.js with Havok Physics for the race simulation, with Claude Code as the main coding tool and Codex as a backup. Per the credits, the music came from Gemini, the commentary, announcer and some sound effects from ElevenLabs, and other sound effects from Pixabay and the Sonniss #GameAudioGDC bundle; controller button images are by ArksDigital (CC BY 4.0).
