About Napless

A fast multiplayer party game in the browser where you play a toddler in a giant living room. Each 90-second run is a race for cartoons: you grab cookies and snacks, bonk rival toddlers, smash room objects to fill a Chaos meter, climb the toys stacked by the TV and hold the remote before nap time wins. You can drop into public play, invite friends to a private room or keep playing solo while multiplayer reconnects; runs earn badges and cosmetic titles, the fastest times go on all-time and daily leaderboards, and a run can be shared as a challenge link. The developer, Valerio Gioia, says the idea came from having a toddler. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Codex as the tool. It finished 21st of 945 entries. Free, on desktop with mouse and keyboard and on phones with touch controls, in ten interface languages.

“I have a toddler, I was inspired by real life”

Verification notes: Tool (Codex), engine, genre, pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer, mobile and portal flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 29 Apr 2026; final rank 21 of 945 entries, no award); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Developer: the game page names no one; the name comes from the X profile @valeriogioia given in the jam data (display name Valerio Gioia, location Roma, Lazio; bio “I build things with AI”), which links valeriogioia.com, a site headed “Valerio Gioia” that does not list the game. Team size is not stated. Gameplay details come from the game page's own text. The settings menu offers English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish and Finnish, each with its own translation table in the game's script. The game's code talks only to its own multiplayer, leaderboard, analytics and support endpoints and the jam widget; no calls to AI services were found. The jam page's widget counters showed 467 plays and 72 portal transfers for playnapless.com on 4 Nov 2026 (observed; sessions, not players or downloads, so not recorded as metrics). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 29 Apr 2026.
